​I design bespoke transformational journeys to the African Wild to stimulate your vitality, crystallize your human purpose, and awaken kinship with the natural world.
My trips emphasize being in nature, courting and meeting our local cultural hosts, learning about local cosmologies, time for stillness and silence, embodied presence, good food, conservation, expert local naturalists, walking and being immersed in nature, traditional music, making beautiful gifts with our hands, learning how to say courtesy words, for example, thank you and please, in local languages, music, and engaging with local wisdom keepers.

You are welcome to bring your cameras - but my trips are not photographic safaris. We will not be hunting for trophies, we will be on the lookout instead, for our authentic, primal self.

These ancient world grows beneath our feet and is also the now-time for vast myriad of people's homes and territories. Connecting with our hosts is as important to me as seeing the beautyscape of the Great Nature. We come with humility and reciprocity. The trip we can pay for, but for the regard of human relationship with our hosts, we learn how to approach with generosity. Important things take time and I make sure to not rush to say hello or goodbye. I do everything I can to move us beyond a transactional mindset with the hope that maybe there is a new way to ask the question, what does it mean to be human?

On your journey, you will be hosted by local companies, guides, and cultures who will take you farther than far, and just maybe, you will feel your human memory of belonging to people and place.

I believe it is a privilege to visit the origins place of humanity's long growing fruiting vine. To take footsteps on the same lands where our longest time ancestors once lived is a gift.
I offer you a vision to come on this journey as a pilgrim to a holy place. By your presence, you honor the fountain head of human cultures to see the lands of our ancestors and our beautiful home. When you remember, make whole again, the human story across the long arc of time, you give a gift to our ancestors and descendants alike. Our ancestors weren't primitive, only the modern mind made them that way. The wildscape gleaming with primal vitality is not an enemy to escape - she is our kin - our relations and our sacred responsibility to steward. The more-than-human world is humanity's throne. The land herself is the nobility. This is the way of our whole Earth and our long story as people with shared roots. How wonderful how different we are!
